- Cooking Instructions
StoveTop: Boil 2 cups water in a small saucepan, add 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil and contents of the quinoa bag. Reduce heat to low, cover loosely. Cook for 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed. Turn off heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving.
Microwave: In a microwave safe container combine 2 cups water, contents of quinoa box, and ½ tablespoon of olive oil or vegetable oil. Cover loosely. Cook on high for 5 minutes, stir & re-cover. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 8 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
